The must haves:

  • Experience in carpentry and project supervision, with a strong understanding of architectural construction methods
  • High level leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in reading plans and technical drawings, with the ability to interpret and implement project plans accurately
  • Knowledge of the NCC, Australian standards and safety standards, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

The job looks like:

  • Supervise and coordinate construction projects whilst leading our carpentry team
  • A hands-on role with a focus on all aspects of architectural carpentry, time on and off the tools as required
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Lead and motivate team members
  • Maintain quality standards and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with clients and trades of all descriptions
