Custom by design, cool by default, born from a carpentry business. Working on large scale projects across Adelaide helped us to set our standards high, and keep our love of carpentry always at our core.
We’re a compact, detail-driven team: small enough to really get to know you, big enough to deliver ambitious projects and tight deadlines, thanks to our top-shelf in-house carpentry and office crew. We obsess over the client experience as much as the finished product.

Wilks Building Group kicked off in 2015, when qualified builder and project lead Sam Willcocks backed himself. After more than a decade across commercial and residential projects, Sam found his sweet spot in mid-century and contemporary architecture through high end residential projects. A family man who understands how people use their homes day to day. We strive to build architecturally built spaces that still feel like home. And, true to form, still prefers to let his work do most of the talking.

Sustainability and quality are kind of a big deal to us. We build custom homes with longevity in mind, using high-quality materials, thoughtful detailing and construction that can handle the harsh Australian climate. The goal is simple: spaces that feel good now and still stand strong decades on.
